It seems like Drake/Savage won’t go head-to-head with Rihanna.

As recently, the Canadian-born rapper announced that he is shifting the release date of his upcoming collaborative album with 21 Savage from October to November as his producer Noah “40” Shebib was affected by COVID-19 while mixing and mastering the album.

Drake even shared it on his Instagram story writing: “Our brother @OVO40 got Covid while mixing and mastering the crack so he’s resting up and November 4th is Her Loss Day, we’ll see you soon.”

Drake & 21 Savage's Album "Her Loss" Gets Delayed as Noah “40” Shebib Gets Covid

The announcement of Her Loss was made public in the music video for Drizzy and 21’s most recent collaboration, “Jimmy Cooks.” At approximately the halfway point of the clip, a message that reads “Her Loss – Album by Drake and 21 Savage – October 28, 2022” was displayed across the screen.

Over the course of their careers, Drake and 21 Savage have become frequent musical partners, having previously worked together on songs such as “Knife Talk” from Drizzy’s Certified Lover Boy album from the previous year, “Mr. Right Now” from 21 Savage’s Savage Mode II album collaboration with Metro Boomin in 2020, Drake’s stand-alone release “Sneakin'” in 2016 and more.
