Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner aren’t holding back when it comes to talking about Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal, which rocked the family in the season 1 finale of The Kardashians. Season 2 of The Kardashians is almost here.
The NBA player betrayed Khloe by fathering a child with Maralee Nichols while they were still together, and both Khloe and Kris break down in tears as they discuss this in the new video, which was released on Tuesday.
Khloe starts by saying, “There is something that I’m ready to talk about. “Tristan and I are expecting a new child.”
The Good American founder’s voice then starts to break. It’s just a different experience even though it should be a tremendously exciting moment.
Kris was equally as shocked by the news, crying as she recalled watching her daughter deal with the ensuing controversy.
Kris says to the cameras, “It’s terrible to watch her in pain.”
Despite the fact that she has been going through a “tough moment,” Khloe insists that it is the “beginning of something good, joyous, and lovely.”
Khloe, 38, and Thompson, 31, welcomed their boy, their second kid, via surrogate in August, according to a report from ET.

A source told ET shortly after the news emerged that Khloe was “doing great as a parent of two. She is undoubtedly still figuring out how her connection with Tristan works, but that will become clearer over time. Her main concern right now is her infant.
The insider also stated that the pair is amicably co-parenting even though they are no longer together and their son was conceived before Tristan’s paternity crisis became public knowledge.
The source stated, “Things between Khloe and Tristan are mostly positive and amicable. They are facing challenges, but they remain optimistic and certain that they can continue to co-parent successfully and provide their children with the best possible lives.
True, their 4-year-old daughter, is adjusting to being an older sister.
“True has been longing to be a big sister and is enamored with her little brother, so this is a dream come true for her,” the insider said.
The insider added that although Tristan is opposed to Khloe returning to the dating pool after ending her secret connection with an investment banker, he is not on board with the notion.
Khloe is open to dating, and since her breakup with the investment banker wasn’t messy or very serious, to begin with, it didn’t have a significant impact on her, according to the sources who spoke with ET.
Tristan wants to keep Khloe to himself because he is envious of her dating life, but he also wants to play the game and is aware that he cannot have it all.
