“Platinum End” is based on the manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. It is a dark fantasy supernatural anime. One of the main characters of the anime is an average youngster named Mirai Kakehashi who lost his parents at an early age and has been living with his violent relatives for several years.
He is driven to the brink of suicide by a sense of meaninglessness and despair, but an angel intervenes and provides him the gift of superhuman skills. To become the next god of the planet, he is compelled to compete against 12 other individuals in a life and death combat. ‘Platinum End’ created a lot of commotion even before its debut due to the manga writers’ fame.
Unfortunately, the anime fell short of critics’ high hopes and was panned for its sluggish character growth and plot pace. However, by the end of the first season, the show had already gained a sizable fanbase.
Fans are already speculating as to whether or not the program will return for a third season. Let us know if you’re curious about the same thing.
Will There Be ‘Platinum End’ Season 2?
The first season of ‘Platinum End‘ debuted on October 8, 2021, and ended on March 25, 2022. There are a total of 24 episodes in the anime, each lasting between 21 and 25 minutes.
We don’t have good news for the fans when it comes to the show’s future. The comeback of ‘Platinum End’ has yet to be confirmed by Signal.MD and other entities engaged in the production and marketing of the series. As it is, the prospects of the anime making a reappearance are extremely low

The popular manga series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata has been drained, and the artists have no more material to draw from. Because the manga was completed in January of 2021, the program will have no further sources to draw on in the future. Even the idea of creative narratives by the show’s creators seems unlikely.

Is Season 2 of ‘Platinum End’ coming out soon?
We have a long wait ahead of us before we learn if there will be a second English-dubbed season. Because there are 24 episodes in the program, it would take a long time to make. ‘Platinum End’ Season 2 is likely to premiere in 2023, barring an official renewal. For the time being, they are only conjectures. We’ll let you know as soon as new information becomes available.
Platinum End Season 2 Plot
The story of Mirai Kakehashi is told in “Platinum End.” She was raised by her violent aunt and uncle after the death of her parents. After years of torture, Mirai has had enough and is ready to go.
She made the decision to end her life after coping with her controlling aunt and uncle. But Nasse, her guardian angel, appears and rescues the day before anything more can happen. Nasse assured her that he has the authority to bring her aunt and uncle to justice for the killing of her parents.
In 999 days, Nasse, Mirai’s guardian angel, reveals to her that God is retiring. Nasse was selected as the new replacement because of his status as one of the great angels.
Other angels are willing to die for the chance to be God’s successor. Mirai had no option but to form an alliance with his guardian angel in order to obtain the job he desired without resorting to violence.
