Sun-filled fun! While her ex-husband Ben Affleck wed Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas, Jennifer Garner took a weekend trip.
The 50-year-old Juno actress posted a photo to her Instagram Story on Sunday, July 17, showing her vacation with sunglasses and a bike helmet while a lovely scene played in the backdrop. Garner posted the picture on Instagram while paragliding above Lake Tahoe, California.
Us Weekly reported on Sunday that Affleck, 49, and Lopez, 52, got married in Nevada the day before while the Alias star lounged by the ocean. A tiny wedding ceremony was held in Sin City for the couple. After the wedding, a source exclusively revealed to Us that “they both thought it was a fun and relaxed way to tie the knot.”
The Gone Girl actress and Lopez were previously engaged from 2002 to 2004, but their relationship ended before they were married. Affleck later married Garner, with whom he has children Samuel, 10, Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13. Three years after splitting up in 2015, the couple reached a divorce settlement.
According to a source who spoke to Us in May 2020, Garner is “glad” to see how far her ex-husband has come since their breakup and that they “have worked hard to get in a good position with each other.”

Affleck took sure to give the Camping actor advance notice when he proposed earlier this year. A third source told Us in April that the Town actor and the Grammy nominee “waited a few days before breaking the news” in her “On the JLo” newsletter. “His whole family knew a bit before [the announcement],” the source added.
