Despite the decision to change the concept of the show, ITV’s hit dating show will return for a new series after eight seasons.
Season 8 is slated to include a lot of improvements, including a new famous mansion in Majorca and a more diverse ensemble. Love Island is set to premiere in the first week of June, according to reports.
And onlookers are already guessing who might be gearing up for a love-filled summer. This reality show’s format is quite intriguing. Islanders are a group of contestants who reside in a villa that is continually monitored by video cameras, cut off from the rest of the world.
The Islanders must be partnered with another Islander in order to survive in the villa, whether for love, friendship, or financial gain. Anyone who remained single after the coupling is ejected from the island and expelled. A public vote can also be used to exclude islanders.
