Fans were startled to see Liam Payne on Thursday sporting a radically altered appearance.
The One Direction actor, 29, surprised everyone by walking the red carpet while supporting former bandmate Louis Tomlinson at the premiere of his new movie All Of Those Voices.
While Liam admitted to not being very close to Louis while in the band, he shared in 2022 that Louis was his ‘best mate now’.
Fans went to Twitter to enquire about what had happened, and many of them inquired as to whether he had had his buccal fat removed.
The rapidly spreading practice among social media influencers and celebrities alike involves removing fat pads from inside the cheek, giving the person a more angular face.
Regarding reports of plastic surgery, Payne has not yet commented. Several of his supporters showered him with love and support, despite some online trolls making fun of his appearance.
Speaking in 2021, Liam revealed he was left looking bloated after going through a ‘wild booze and pills phase’.
‘There were a few images of me on a boat and I was all swollen out and I call it my pills-and-booze face,’ Liam, who said he battled to stay sober on tour, admitted.

Who is Liam Payne?
Born on August 29th, 1993 in Wolverhampton, England, Payne began his journey in the music industry at the young age of 14. He auditioned for the fifth season of the popular TV show, The X Factor, but was eliminated early on in the competition. However, fate had other plans for him, and he was brought back as a member of a boy band along with four other contestants, forming what would later become known as One Direction.
One Direction quickly rose to fame and became one of the biggest boy bands in the world. They released five albums, sold over 70 million records, and won numerous awards, including seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. However, in 2015, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, and each member went their separate ways to pursue solo careers.
Payne wasted no time in releasing his first solo single, “Strip That Down,” in 2017. The song was an instant hit, reaching the top 10 in multiple countries, including the UK, US, and Australia. Since then, he has released several other singles, including “Bedroom Floor,” “Familiar,” and “Stack It Up,” which have all been well-received by fans and critics alike.
