Harry Anderson’s early life
Mr. Anderson was born on October 14, 1952, in Newport, R.I., and spent much of his childhood performing on the streets for money. He had lived in many cities, including Chicago, New York, St. Louis, and New Orleans, by the time he landed in California at age 16.
He lived a very loving and wonderful life and had a plethora of fan following. Just like his reel life was full of his comic timings and sitcom appearances, his real life was full of magic and working hard all his wife.
In one of his interviews. he explained how he spent his whole childhood on the streets of San Francisco. He used to run a classic street hustle, the shell game, where, at 21, he had his jaw broken by an opponent who was livid at the game’s outcome.

He was married twice.
His first wife, Leslie Pollack(1977-1999), and his second wife Elizabeth Morgan(2000-2018).
Anderson is blessed with two kids Eva Fay Anderson, a writer and producer in Los Angeles, and Dashiell Anderson, a teacher from his first wife, Leslie Pollack.

He appeared in Saturday Night Live almost 12 times and all his appearances helped him a lot in gaining fame and a huge fan following.
After marrying Ms. Morgan, the couple opened a nightclub in 2005, in the French Quarter, Oswald’s Speakeasy. He opened the club with the good aim of saving the magic of New Orleans.

About his mother, he said: “She was a hustler, yeah. She did a lot of things. We moved around a lot, and she had a lot of men friends.”
But he said his childhood was not bad, adding that his dubious background should not be viewed any differently from his mother’s.
“I respect my mother; she was very concerned with taking care of us,” he said. “She did what needed to be done to try to keep us together. People find my criminal days amusing, but they find her background shocking. I don’t draw any line.”
Mr. Anderson said that his father was a salesman who was mostly absent from his life, and that he had not seen him for 15 years before his death.
Harry Anderson’s death
On April 16, 2018, the Night Court star Harry Anderson died in his sleep of a stroke due to influenza and heart disease at his home in Asheville, North Carolina, at the age of 65.
“This morning at 6:41 a.m. the Asheville Police Department responded to the home of actor Harry Anderson where he was found deceased. No foul play is suspected,” the police said in a statement at the time.
