As Anna Delvey knows, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
She sent a doodle to Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman, who portrayed the con artist in Netflix’s “Inventing Anna” limited series, in March.
“This was just delivered to my door. Anna Delvey, thank you very much for your kind words. I’m speechless and awestruck. It has a high level of exclusivity about it. I’m a bit of a snob “Chloe stated in an Instagram video she posted on July 4th, alluding to her sketches’ catchphrases.
The sketch depicts Chloe’s effort to utilize a Metro card as a form of payment at a specific point in the sketch. Run it again, please! A 30 Rock employee is yelled at by Chloe (in character as Anna).
At the very least, she thought to herself, “America is f—ked up, but at least I have this.”
You should always try to see the bright side of things, even if you’re just making a joke about credit card fraud!
As she awaits deportation to Germany, Anna created Chloe’s artwork in a detention center. As it turns out, Anna, who was found guilty of larceny in the second degree, attempted grand larceny, and theft of services in 2019, is making the most of her time in prison by fusing her passions for the arts with her professional career.
At Delvey’s art show Allegedly, hosted at New York City’s Public Hotel on May 19, the drawing’s existence was first revealed. When Chloe saw the artwork, she knew she wanted to have it in her collection.
‘You have to purchase it for $250,’ said one of my friends as we flew back from Miami.’ In June, Chloe stated on The View. “However, I agreed to receive it as a present.”
As a result, Chloe and Anna began exchanging direct messages.
When she asked for her address, she said, “I can give you one for free, what is your address??” On a talk show, Chloe said: He says, “She already knows my home address.”
