Michael Oher never misses an opportunity whether it is on the field or off the field
Oher, who earned a lot of All-American honors in his career has now completed the responsibilities of a person as he wed his longtime girlfriend, Tiffany Roy, and was attended by 200-plus people on Saturday at the JW Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee, according to People.
On Tuesday, the NFL star shared a beautiful post on Instagram along with his wife Roy with a long caption writing: “Filled with joy, can’t believe people took their time and came to celebrate, My beautiful wife, I love you so much, thank you for blessing me with our family! Easily the best single weekend I’ve ever been a part of.
“Not being from the area everyone came to was even more special. I won’t be able to tell everyone to thank you if I saw you this weekend, thank you! I’m complete, let’s keep trending upward.”
The post received a lot of wishes and heart whelming messages from numerous celebrities and their fans.
Michael first met with Roy in 2005 at the administration building of the University of Mississippi and after a long time span of 17 years, they tied the knot in November 2022. Although, the couple shares sons Kobi and MJ and daughters Kierstin and Naivi before their marriage.
Roy, who engaged to Oher in July 2021 told People: “The most magical part was our vows, to hear Mike express his feelings in front of 200-plus people was astonishing and romantic. I really felt like a true Queen.”
Oher’s life story was presented in Michael Lewis’ best-selling 2006 book and film “The Blind Side,” which was released in 2009.” Oher was adopted by Tuohy and her husband, Sean Tuohy, when he was a teenager.
The role of Oher’s adoptive mother, Leigh Anne Tuohy, which Sandra Bullock played, earned her the Academy Award Other than that, the film earned around $300 million at the box office.
Michael Oher has played in NFL for 8 seasons. His career highlights include a 2013 Super Bowl victory with the Baltimore Ravens. Soon after, he signed with the Tennessee Titans then he played for the Carolina Panthers until his retirement in 2016.
