Justin Taylor Hudges, Popularly known as J. T. Hudges is an American singer and actor. In 2011, he signed Show Dog-Universal Music and released one album, which has produced three charting singles on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Early life and career
Justin was born on July 6, 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up there only with both his parents. He graduated high school from The Oakridge School in 1996.
He later went to college at Texas Christian University. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles and spent some years on the coffeehouse circuit. He met his wife in Jay, California and they moved to Nashville in 2009.
Justin comes from a musical family. His father, James McKinley Hodges, is a pianist and owns a recording studio in Forth Worth. His mother, Marsha Kathleen McDade Hodges, was briefly signed to MCA Nashville in the 1980s.
During mid-2011, Justin signed to Show Dog-Universal Music and released his debut single, ‘Hunt You Down’ which he co-wrote with Rivers Rutherford and Mark Collie.
Taste of Country’s Billy Dukes rated the song four out of five stars. He complimented the song for its ‘infectious melody’ but also criticised the lyrics for being ‘too cool for the room’.
Kyle Ward gave similar feedback and rating at Roughstock, also saying that the song had an original sound, although he thought that the “story is a bit implausible” and said that he did not understand the song’s bridge.
Hodges’ debut album had total of eleven songs of which nine he co-wrote. “Goodbyes Made You Mine” and “Sleepy Little Town” also charted from it.
