Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz can refrigerated biscuit dough (buttermilk style)
  • ¼  cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½  cup granulated sugar
  • 1  Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: drizzle of honey powdered sugar

Equipment

  • Oven or air fryer
  • Baking sheet (if using oven)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Small bowl for cinnamon sugar
  • Pastry brush or spoon
  • Cooling rack

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; if using an air fryer, preheat it to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar and cinnamon until evenly blended.
  3. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Cut each biscuit into quarters or bite‑sized pieces.
  4. Place the biscuit pieces in a clean mixing bowl. Pour the melted butter over them and toss gently until all pieces are coated.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttery biscuit pieces and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the coated biscuit bites in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden brown and crisp at the edges.
  7. Remove the bites and transfer them to a cooling rack for a minute so they can crisp up further.
  8. Serve warm on a platter; drizzle honey or sprinkle powdered sugar over the top if desired.
