Barry Melrose Career

He coached the Kings for two more seasons before being fired in 1995.
After leaving the Kings, Melrose worked as a television analyst for ESPN for several years before returning to coaching in 2008 when he was hired as head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, his tenure with the Lightning was short-lived as he was fired after just 16 games.
