How Does Wordle Work?
Wordle is a daily word guessing game in which you get six chances to guess the word of the day. There are no hints supplied until you type your first word. These hints are returned to you as color-coded letters. The more yellow and green you see, the closer you are to figuring out what the possible solution is!
In our earlier article about Wordle alternatives, we included Wordle Unlimited, which is also a free game. It’s the same game we’ve been playing since the beginning of the year, but you can go as long as you want! It’s a good approach to practice when you need to keep a score on the NYT website.
You can also practice different ‘best’ approaches for solving a word here. Using the terms ZEBRA, QUITS, and MOLDY as your first three words is one such way. They use harder-to-use letters like Z, Q, and Y to cover more than half of the alphabet.
You might also start with a vowel-heavy opening and work your way up. The objective is that it can help you hone your skills and decipher the most difficult of English words!
