What Will Be Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2 Plot?

The first season of Rent-A-Girlfriend comes to a close with Kazuya’s grand confession. He declares that he wants Chizuru to be his genuine girlfriend, and the season ends there. In terms of a manga parallel, the final episode, Episode 12 ‘Confession and Girlfriend,’ ends at the conclusion of Volume 6 and picks up at the beginning of Volume 7.

The unpleasant part is that Kazuya decides to backtrack on his confession by making explanations. Season 2 of Rent-A-Girlfriend will begin with this uproar, followed by further train wrecks caused by Kazuya’s immaturity. This season will also focus on Chizuru’s emotions and how she feels for him.

In terms of episode count, the last season was a single 12-episode season, increasing the chances that this season will be the same. The upcoming season will most likely consist of 10-14 episodes, with the manga’s tempo requiring them to end their adaptation somewhere around Volume 14-18.
