Season 14 of Apex Legends, called “Hunted,” will begin in less than two weeks. When the current season draws to a close, players are naturally curious about the contents of Season 14, especially as hypotheses and queries take over social media and unsubstantiated datamining dumps emerge.
The next season of Apex Legends is still shrouded in mystery, but we’ve been able to put together a few details thanks to a massive Apex Legends leak, some subtle cues from Respawn, and some official communication from the Apex Legends team themselves. Keep reading to find out what Season 14: Hunted will bring to Apex Legends.
Apex Legends Season 14 Release Date
Season 14 of Apex Legends is expected to be released in June or July, coinciding with the start of season 13. Season 14 of Apex Legends is expected to be released in August. Even if the situation changes.
An investigation into the Hawk’s purported characteristics is also currently in progress. While Black was meant to try out if Hawk didn’t make an impact, it doesn’t appear to be happening for the time being because there’s only a limited amount of time remaining for Hawk to become the official season 14 legend.
If Hawk fails to make an effect, Black is expected to have a trial run.
As with Season 13, many major changes are predicted for Apex Legends Season 14, which is expected to be released between the end of July and the beginning of August.
More personalities and skins, as well as alterations to the surrounding landscape, are expected in the not too distant future.
An Out-Of-This-World Map
Only Seer’s home planet, Boreas, has an Arenas map (“Encore”) but no map for battle royale mode in the Apex Legends world.
As recently illustrated in an animated video posted to Apex’s official Twitter account earlier this month, the moon Cleo was destroyed when Seer was created.
Many people still blame the all-seeing artist for this catastrophe. Cleo may be Apex Legends’ next map.
Toward the end of Season 12, Respawn published a picture of Newcastle’s desk, which suggested Cleo’s position as a map location as well.
Octane’s grandfather, Torres Silva, had recently taken control of the Apex Games’ mercenary syndicate, which Octane’s grandfather had taken over.
Nonetheless, a closer look at the screen offers another suggestion that Cleo may be used as a map. “BOREAS NEWS: Funding for Cleo declines, CRC in an impasse about the future of the moon,” says a news ticker is partially hidden at the bottom of the screen.
Cleo Restoration Committee (CRC) may be the abbreviation for CRC (or something similar).
Seer’s departure from Cleo sparked an unprecedented humanitarian crisis that has only gotten worse in the years since, and if the powers that be on Boreas were offered a financially viable deal that could improve the quality of life on Cleo—for example, an offer from Torres Silva to restore the damaged moon in exchange for permission to use a portion of the moon for the Apex Games—hard it’s to imagine them saying no.
It’s possible that the new map will be revealed at a later date, but this is just speculation. It’s possible that this is actually a set-up for Season 15, not Season 14, of Respawn’s annual battle royale map unveiling tradition.
What we do know is that EA’s official Apex Legends website says, “Kings Canyon is getting a total makeover.” “Every place has changed over time, including Kings Canyon. From the ashes of the past, what will emerge?”
From Singh Labs to the Revenant factory to Ash herself, we’ve seen a lot of interesting things buried under Kings Canyon in prior seasons.
The phrase “ashes from the past” nearly ensures this season’s Kings Canyon will have some Ash-related environmental mythology.
Apex Legends Season 14 Storyline
Mara Contrares, better known as Vantage, was raised by her mother on the frigid planet Págos, where she learned the ways of the hunt.
Vantage is her full name. A “hard-learned survivor,” Vantage was “raised on the harsh ice planet of Págos,” as described by Electronic Arts.
“Survive,” an animated short from the Stories from the Outlands series, included the new story. It was made by EA and Respawn Entertainment.
For the most part, Vantage will be a long-ranged legend with unique abilities ranging from scouting out enemies to mastering the use of a sniper rifle they designed themselves.
One of her tactical talents will allow her to grapple toward her flying companion named Echo.
The information she receives via her neglected skill includes the legend shield, the number of players on the other team, and the distance between them and her team.
