Austen Kroll of Southern Charm Dishes to Craig Conover on His Romance with Olivia Flowers
It looks like the bromance is still going strong. Us Weekly has an exclusive first look at a brand new episode of Southern Charm, and it looks like things are back on track between Austen Kroll and Craig Conover.
The 100th episode of the Bravo series airs on Thursday, July 14, and features a bromance between the friends after weeks of bickering. Austen, 35, enlists the help of his “Pillows and Beer” podcast co-host, 33, in order to woo Olivia Flowers, his new girlfriend.
In an exclusive sneak peek for Us, Craig says to Austen, “Olivia’s cool though, I like her.” The founder of Kings Calling Brewing Co. concurs, remarking on how “levelheaded” Olivia, age 30, has become after only a few nights out.
That’s probably due to the fact that she’s so tall. Austen tells his best friend that he thinks tall people are more flexible, to which the latter responds with humour. “Short folks are just like, ‘Meh,'” and “angry little demons,” respectively.
The North Carolina native, who was previously in a relationship with Madison LeCroy for two years before they broke up in December 2020, tells Craig he isn’t quite ready for a serious commitment.
Austen says in the preview, “I don’t want to fast-track anything,” and adds that Olivia seems confused about where they stand. According to her vibe, she has no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to communicating with me. Which means she can’t “read” me. Honestly, I can’t say that I blame her.
While Austen isn’t ready for marriage, he is interested in hearing Craig’s thoughts on how he can improve his relationship with Olivia.
The longtime friends, who reconciled the previous week following an argument, engage in a hilarious back-and-forth in the video, debating what the University of Alabama alum should text the photographer to ask her out on a date.
As of The Final Season of ‘Southern Charm,’ Have Austen and Olivia Reconciled?
Before her role on Southern Charm Season ,8 was officially confirmed, fans speculated that Austen and Olivia were dating. In December of 2021, their co-star Taylor Ann Green posted a photo of them together on her Instagram, and it immediately went viral.
At a promotion for a new Trop Hop album, Taylor and her boyfriend Shep Rose posed in front of a step and repeat alongside Olivia and Austen.
Taylor posted another picture from her trip to Napa Valley with Shep, Austen, and Olivia fewer than five months later. Olivia and Austen were photographed holding hands.
It Seemed as Though the Two Groups Were Travelling Together as A Couple
A source close to Austen told Us Weekly that the two were dating in May 2022, right around the time of the NBCUniversal upfront presentation. He went on to say that they had been friends for a year and a half before developing romantic feelings for one another, revealing that he had met her about a year and a half earlier.
Austen hinted that their entire relationship would be shown on the show by saying, “You will certainly see where it begins, then how it ends.” Even as I try to make sense of it, there are ups and downs.
On WWHL, Olivia’s Ring Has Become the Subject of Speculation
Olivia and Kathryn Dennis both showed up on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 4. In several instances, she came to Austen’s defence, leading many to believe that the two are romantically involved.
