With this money, Master P opened No Limit Records in Richmond, California.

Master P has so many occupations that it would be impossible to choose just two or three. His net worth has grown through a variety of sources, including his employment as a rapper, entrepreneur, and sometimes actor.
He inherited $10,000 from his grandfather while still living in Oakland. He used the money to open No Limit Records, a record store.
After getting to know his clients’ likes, he decided to turn the store into a record company in 1990. The 1990 cassette-only EP “Mind of a Psychopath” was his first release.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard charts and sold over 400,000 copies in its first week, outselling Ghetto D. In the same year, Master P released a film to go along with the music.
Game Face, Master P’s tenth studio album, was released in 2001. In 2004, he released his eleventh studio album. Master P and his son Lil Romeo founded the independent label Guitar Music in 2005 and released an album dedicated to Hurricane Katrina victims.
In 2007, the two collaborated on an album that went on to sell 32,000 copies around the world. Master P went on to collaborate, record, and tour, as well as release mixtapes on a yearly basis. We All We Got, his sixth collaboration mixtape with his band No Limit Boys, was released in January 2017.

Personal Life
Sonya Miller and Master P married in 1989. They are the parents of seven children. Miller’s ex-wife claimed that the rapper owns 31 houses throughout the country, 13 automobiles, and 45 lucrative businesses when she filed for divorce in 2014.
She further stated that according to the company’s own audit, No Limit Records was worth $136 million and that Master P was worth $350 million at the height of his empire. She was after 40% of his assets. In 2014, the divorce was finalized on secret terms.
Master P works with his own organizations, the P Miller Youth Centers and the P Miller Food Foundation for the Homeless, to help underprivileged communities.
In Memphis, Tennessee, he was given the key to the city in July 2005. In 2007, Master P became more interested in politics, publicly encouraging people to vote.
Master P was an early backer of Illinois senator Barack Obama’s candidacy, as well as his presidential campaign. Congresswoman Maxine Waters presented Master P and his son Lil’ Romeo with a Certificate of Special Recognition in April 2010.
