After six years together, Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons, her long-term boyfriend and the father of her two children have finally sealed the wedding.
Page Six has learned from a reliable source that the couple exchanged vows last weekend at Jamaica’s upscale GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios.
“I can merely confirm they got married,” a Dunst rep confirms to us. “No further information will be provided.”
The tropical setting is known to inspire creative people. They wrote their James Bond novels there and Sting penned “Every Breath You Take” here.
The two initially met on the set of the FX series “Fargo” in 2015, when they played a married couple.
But they didn’t start dating until 2016 after Dunst had broken up with her ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.
Page Six learned exclusively in January 2017 that the couple got engaged over the Golden Globes weekend.
With her ‘Friday Night Lights’ beau, she gave birth to son Ennis in the spring of 2018 and to son James Robert the following year.
As newlyweds in “The Power of the Dog,” both actors were nominated for an Oscar earlier this year for their performance.
They “call each other husband and wife,” Dunst told the LA Times in February, although their wedding had been postponed owing to the COVID-19 outbreak and delivering a second kid.
“We have to get married now,” Dunst added. “It’s absurd. We haven’t planned a wedding since we haven’t had time. I didn’t want to get married, get pregnant, and then have a party and not be able to enjoy myself with everyone.”
Plemons recalls meeting Dunst for the first time during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in August 2019 by saying, “Immediately, without too many words being exchanged, I looked into her eyes and saw the lovely, sweet, unguarded, inviting human being that she is.”
According to a report in the New York Times, Dunst met Plemons. The two of us were “soulmates” since we worked so closely together, the narrator said. Afterward, he stated, “I knew he’d be in my life for a long time.”
