When Michael David Barrett, a stalker, discovered where hotels Erin Andrews was staying at in 2008, he immediately made reservations for rooms right next to hers.
After that, he used peepholes at the Nashville Marriott and the Milwaukee Radisson Airport Hotel to watch Andrews as she lay in bed in each of their rooms. Barrett posted a video of Erin Andrews in her undies on the internet in 2009, and the footage has since gone viral.
Erin’s life was in jeopardy once the video went viral. This led to a depressive episode, which she subsequently said was brought on by people who had seen the video and were harassing her frequently.
