Bong Joon Ho, director of the Oscar-nominated film “Parasite,” is hard at work on his next big film, which will have an all-star ensemble.
In addition to Steven Yeun and Robert Pattinson, the South Korean director has cast Naomi Ackie and others in his yet-untitled sci-fi thriller set at Warner Bros., according to Deadline A reunion of Joon Ho and Yeun, who worked on Netflix’s “Okja” five years ago, is featured in this film.
Bong Joon Ho’s next film has no plot yet except for the story of an “expendable employee” who refuses to be replaced by a clone from Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel “Mickey7,” which forms the basis of the storyline.

It’s possible that Joon Ho’s version of the sci-fi novel will be completely different from the original, given his track record in book-to-film adaptations.
