Hello, lovely, to quote the movie Funny Girl. According to the celebrity’s own social media account, Bonnie Chance Roberts and Beanie Feldstein recently got engaged.
The Glee alum Jane Lynch and the current leader of the vintage Broadway production announced the news on Thursday via Instagram.
In the post, Roberts is pictured getting down on one knee. Subsequent images show the pair surrounded by loved ones, including Feldstein’s brother Jonah Hill and long-term best friend Ben Platt. I do, bon,” Feldstein penned in the post’s description.
Beanie Feldstein shared the picture on her Instagram story on Thursday and wrote, “You make me happier than I realized was possible I love you,” with the ABBA song “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do” playing in the background.
In 2019, the couple started dating after meeting on the set of How to Build a Girl, which Feldstein produced and Bonnie Chance Roberts appeared in.
In an April story, Feldstein gushed to Vogue, “Bon was the finest thing that’s ever happened to me.” There was no question in my mind that I wasn’t going to be honest about it when something enters your life and “shifts the tectonic plates in such a crazy, beautiful way.”

It certainly sounds like a tectonic shift; according to Teen Vogue, Feldstein believed Roberts wasn’t at all a relationship person before they met. She told the publication that before meeting Roberts, “I really didn’t think about it or crave it.” Then, she realized, “Whoa! Now I understand, I understand why people make songs.
It’s obvious that Feldstein has been looking forward to this for a while.
Her ideal future, according to a 2021 interview with Bustle, includes “living in New York City or London, marrying my fiancée, and having babies and pups running about while we both develop movies, shows, and plays that feel significant, thrilling, and profound.”
