Aubrey Christina Plaza, an American actress, comedian, and producer was born on 26 June 1984, in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. She is famous for playing the role of April Ludgate in NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation from 2009–2015.
She began as an intern performing sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. She appeared in a number of web series and did some critically successful films including Mystery Team, Funny People, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The To Do List, Life After Beth, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Child’s Play.

Aubrey’s mother, Bernadette, is an attorney, and her father, David Plaza, is a financial advisor. She was the eldest of two sisters, Renee and Natalie. Many times she was seen saying that she is happy to be half-Puerto Rican with a huge family and lots of cousins in Puerto Rico.
Aubrey is very Catholic as she grew up in a strict Catholic household. She attended Ursuline Academy, an all-girls convent school, and studied film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2006.
