Fans of the series have been waiting ten years and six months for its return to television, but no one could have predicted how the Bleach TYBW storyline would begin. One day before the scheduled premiere, the first episode of Bleach’s “Thousand Year Blood War” storyline unintentionally appeared on Disney Plus.
The first episode of the Bleach TYBW arc was reportedly playing on many Brazilian and New Zealander Twitter users’ Disney+ accounts. Before Disney Plus realized its error and removed the show from its website, many fans had already downloaded the episode.
It is unclear if Bleach would actually be simulcast or if Disney Plus will treat it similarly to Summer Time Rendering, whose episodes were released on various days for each area.
One of the anime episodes from Fall 2022 has previously been leaked. The first episode of Mob Psycho 100 season 3 was leaked by Muse Asia many hours before its scheduled release.
Episode 1 of the Bleach “Thousand Year Blood War” storyline will air on October 10 at 8:30 AM (Pacific Time). The Bleach episodes will have their US premieres on Hulu, while foreign viewers can watch them on Disney Plus. We kindly ask you not to view the leaked episode as the official release is just a few hours away if you want to show your support for the Bleach creators who made this anime possible.
The official count for the Bleach TYBW arc anime is 52 episodes. There will be 4 seasons, each with 13 episodes. All prior episodes of Bleach have recently been removed from Crunchyroll’s platform, and the anime’s opening and closing themes have also been taken down from Crunchyroll’s YouTube channel. Disney Plus is anticipated to shortly add the whole Bleach library.
